Dutch Woven Wire Mesh
Dutch Woven Wire Mesh

Dutch weave woven wire mesh is manufactured from stainless steel wire. Different from plain woven wire mesh and twill woven wire mesh, the Dutch weave woven wire mesh has a different diameter in the weft and warp directions. Commonly, the warp wire is a coarser wire, which can supply the high tensile strength for the wire mesh. The weft wire is a finer wire, which can ensure excellent filtering performance. This unique structure with greater strength and finer openings is primarily used as a filter cloth.

Pattern Type

Pattern Types Overview
Plain dutch weave

Plain Dutch Weave: Combination of dutch and plain weave. It offers greater mechanical stability and finer openings for better filtration efficiency.

Twill dutch weave

Twill Dutch Weave: Combination of dutch and twill weave. Superior filtering performance and higher tensile strength for ultra-fine products.

Reverse Dutch Woven

Reverse Dutch Woven: Warp wires are relatively thin and shute wires are thick. Produces precisely defined pore openings at an angle to the surface.

Reverse Dutch Twilled

Reverse Dutch Twilled Weave: Suitable for applications subject to high levels of mechanical stress without heavy deformation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Dutch Weave different from Standard Weave?
Unlike standard square weaves, Dutch weaves use different wire diameters for the warp and weft. This creates a much denser mesh with smaller, triangular openings, making it ideal for high-pressure filtration.
Which stainless steel grade should I choose?
304 is suitable for general use, while 316 and 316L offer superior corrosion resistance, making them better for marine or highly acidic environments.
What are the main applications for Reverse Dutch Weave?
Reverse Dutch Weave is primarily used in vertical and horizontal leaf filters, plastic extrusion, and any application requiring high mechanical strength and fine filtration.
Can you provide custom widths and lengths?
Yes, while standard rolls are usually 30m long, we can provide custom widths and cut-to-size pieces based on your specific filtration equipment requirements.
What is the filter rating range for these meshes?
Our Dutch woven meshes cover a wide range of filter ratings, from approximately 1 micron up to 400 microns, depending on the weave pattern and mesh count.
How is the product packaged for international shipping?
We use waterproof film and protective paper, followed by secure wooden cases to ensure the mesh remains flat and undamaged during transit.
